Ever think about winning the lottery or getting on price is right and coming back in a new truck filled with money. Well The movie Slumdog Millionaire talks about a dirtpoor indian man getting on Who Wants to be a Millionaire and winning. I've Given Slumdog Millionaire 4 outta 5 because its a great movie great story great plot good acting, with a couple discrepencies such as the steriotype of americans.
The plot of the movie goes like this a man is walking into a jail and finds a man chained upand a cop interigating him. Well then he is questioned about how he knows each answer wich brings him to flashbacks to when he was 5 years old. The first question was about a famous actor and his flashback shows about how his mom dies and how he meets Latika who is reluctently let Jamal take her in. the next flashback shows how a gangster tricks them into being beggars when he plans to burn Jamal's eyes to make him blind but him and Samal and Latika run for it Jamal and Salim make it on a train but Salim lets Latika be left behind. Then they make it by by stealing and selling shoes and other stuff. They go back to their slum to get Latika back and Samil shot the gangster that owned them and he kicked Jamal out. Jamal finds Latika and Samil works for the gangster owned their slum who he gave Latika to gain his trust. Jamal pretends to work in his house to see her. He goes on Who Wants to be a Millionaire to try and find Latika. Samil finally helps Latika leave and kills his boss but after he is killed also but when Jamal wins the grand prize she finds Latika and they leave.
Now the movie was really good movie it gets a conservative 4 out of 5 great everything except their take on americans. So now when you think of doing somthing and winning big your not the only one. this has been another movie review good bye.
